Yesim in Asia: cheap, with a caveat
The cheapest plan we can link in seven of the 14 countries here. Also the only provider whose Trustpilot score was suspended during a fake-review cleanup. Both facts are load-bearing.
The Trustpilot caveat read this before the prices
What that means in practice: you cannot use the usual shortcut. With Saily at 4.7 across 30,000 reviews or Airalo at 4.1 across 41,000, you can read the crowd. With Yesim you cannot, because the crowd was interfered with.
What it does not mean: that the plans do not work. Yesim is a real provider with real network agreements, published per country, and its prices are genuinely the lowest here. Plenty of people use it without incident.
We link it because the product is real and the saving is real. We put this section above the prices because you would want to know, and because a comparison that hides an inconvenient fact about a high-paying partner is not worth reading.
The verdict a price play, and only a price play
Yesim wins on price and loses on everything you would check if price were not the point.
It is the cheapest linkable option at 10GB in China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan and the Maldives, and its regional plan is the cheapest regional plan in Asia. It publishes its networks in every country, which Saily does not. Its 20GB plan in Taiwan at $18.59 is the single best value we found anywhere in this research.
Against that: a suspended trust score, no published fair-use cap, and a plan catalogue full of one-day unlimited entries that make the pricing hard to read. If you are comfortable with that trade, the money is real. If you would rather not think about it, Airalo costs a few dollars more and asks nothing of you.

Yesim publishes its network permissions everywhere, and they are generally broad: three networks in China, three in Malaysia, two in most other countries. On the technical side there is nothing to complain about, which is what makes the reputation question the whole story.

Scores as of 2026-08-31. Note the middle rows: on disclosure Yesim is better than Saily, publishing both its networks and its exit country. Its gap is reputation and the missing fair-use cap, not secrecy about its plumbing.
Yesim's smallest price gaps are against GigSky in Thailand and Japan, where GigSky is cheaper anyway. Its largest are in China and India, where it undercuts Airalo by $3 to $5 on the same 10GB. Its Macau pricing runs the other way entirely, at $52.28 for 10GB.
The unpublished cap what "unlimited days" actually buys
Yesim's unlimited plans are sold by the day: one day, two days, seven days, up to thirty. In every country here they are priced sensibly, from about $4 a day.
What is not sold with them is a number. Saily says 5GB a day, GigSky 3.5GB, Airalo 3GB, Nomad 2GB. Yesim's plan data carries no daily allowance, only a note that speed may be reduced after heavy usage. There is no way to know before buying whether that means 2GB or 20GB.

You are in Thailand, Japan or Macau, where it is not the cheapest and in Macau is wildly the most expensive.

Is Yesim legit?
It is a real provider with real network agreements, published per country, and traffic that exits in Poland. Its plans work. What is missing is the reputation signal: Trustpilot suspended its score while removing fake reviews, so you cannot check the crowd the way you can with Airalo or Saily.
Why was Yesim's Trustpilot score suspended?
Trustpilot suspended the rating during an enforcement action against fake reviews, leaving the profile with 2,942 reviews and no visible score as of 2026-08-31. That is Trustpilot's published action. We repeat it wherever Yesim appears on this site because it is the single most useful thing to know about the cheapest option in the table.
Is Yesim good for Asia?
On price, yes: cheapest linkable 10GB in seven of the 14 countries here and the cheapest regional plan at $21.61. On unlimited, no, because it publishes no daily cap. On trust, you have to make your own call with the facts above.
Does Yesim have a data cap on unlimited plans?
Almost certainly yes, and it does not publish the number. Its plan data states only that speed may be reduced after heavy usage. Every other major provider here prints a figure: 5GB, 3.5GB, 3GB or 2GB a day.
Does Yesim work in China?
Yes. It can use China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom, and its traffic exits in Poland, so the Great Firewall does not filter it. At $56.93 for 10GB it is the cheapest China plan we can link. The China page has the full exit table.
Yesim or Airalo for Asia?
Airalo if you want the safe, documented, well-supported option and a Trustpilot score you can read. Yesim if you want to save $4 to $8 on the same amount of data and are comfortable with a provider whose reputation signal is unavailable. Both publish their networks and their exit country, which puts them ahead of Saily on disclosure.
